Listening | Talking | Exploring | Supporting | Sharing

Welcome

Time Out Scotland is a self-help peer support group which meets every week.

It is not a counselling or therapy service as there are no mental health practitioners or group leaders involved. Everyone at the group is in need of a safe and confidential space to talk through the difficulties they are experiencing with others who can empathise and relate. The aim of the group is self-help while at the same time supporting each other.

It can feel overwhelming to come along for the first time but everyone else there will have been through their first time coming along, so you will be treated with respect and sensitivity.

Our Meetings

Before lockdown we always met in person every week but now most of our meetings are online. We do hold in person meetings when we can and are looking for a permanent venue with a view to possibly alternating weekly between online and in person.

Meetings are held every Wednesday of the year unless it falls on Christmas/New Years Day.

Please arrive on time to all types of meeting to minimise disruption and be sure to read About us before you join so you know what to expect.

Meeting Dates

Online meetings are held on Zoom every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm. There is no online meeting on the weeks we hold an in person meeting. Dates and locations for in person meetings will be posted below when we have them so please check back regularly.
